Our Philosophy

Big Bird Nursery believes that every child is special, an individual, with their own needs and interests, likes and dislikes, we at the nursery will endeavour to explore their aptitudes and offer appropriate activities which will encourage them to attain their level of achievement.  We achieve this through careful planning of daily activities, using a variety of materials, musical instruments, dressing up games and all forms of imaginative play in a setting which will encourage the emotional, social, physical, creative and intellectual development of each child.

We provide a safe, secure, stimulating enviroment for the children in our care.  Complying with the needs, wishes and involvement of both the child and the parents, the co-operation of the staff, ensures this is achieved.
